We appreciate the service of our veterans and the sacrifices they have made to ensure the freedoms that we enjoy in America. This time of year, around Veteran’s Day, is a good time to reflect on the freedoms we may take for granted. We honor those men and women who have sacrificed so much for our benefit. We thank you.
We recognize that many veterans feel underappreciated. Readjusting to civilian life and finding meaningful employment after military service can be difficult. If you have had a dream of working with horses, working with your hands, and being self-employed, farrier work may be a career worth considering. Butler Professional Farrier School is approved as one of the few professional farrier and horseshoeing schools certified to teach transitioning military, veterans and GIs. The benefits of the G I Bill to help cover the cost of your schooling are available to you.
We provide 12-week training divided into two six-week courses to those who have a dream of gaining new skills. We are approved for G I training. We’ve had veterans as students who have been able to go home and begin successful businesses after initial training.
Some of our best students have been veterans who were able to take advantage of the financial aid offered by the G I Bill. Because of their background in the military, many veterans possess the self-discipline necessary to excel at this job. Many of our former veteran students have also stated the appeal of starting their own business and being their own boss.
We are grateful for our veterans. By accepting financial aid through the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, we hope to make it easier for you to obtain the training you need in order to start a rewarding career. We thank our veterans and wish you all the best.
